My Background
I am an Emmy-nominated video journalist and film director based in New York City. I have worked on long-form documentaries, short-form videos and web-based projects collaborating with Vice, Univision, BBC, NBC, Frontline and PBS. My work has received support from the Sundance Institute, the International Documentary Association, Firelight Documentary Lab and SFFilm. My work at ProPublica has been recognized by the Pictures of the Year Award for Documentary News Reporting, the National Association of Hispanic Journalists Ñ Award and the Online Journalism Award for Digital Video Storytelling.
